Sat 16 A fine drying clear day lt [light] SW Cow to McConnels Tony & Harvey came & workd half a day up stairs in girls room & Hall Mrs Ike Lindseay calld & I sold her 2 bu potatos & she pd me 2,50 & I delivered them young Amlong came with team & bot 5 bu potatos & pd me 6,25 Crosset boys came & bot ½ bu potatos & pd 65c after dinner John Carter helpd me take my jersey cow to McConnels I then went to a sale of traps in E part of town Vic clerkd & I was fool enuf to buy an old bench 20c & curtain stretcher 80c I pd Vic 1,00 I gave mother 3,25 & she went down town PM towards eve I went to the Bank & PO & burn a pile of trash from the grape arbor Mrs Jake Hicks Calld I called on Dutton
