Friday August 18 1916 Warm & dry I hoed & weeded my strawberries I mowed some lawn Isabel went to Rachs to help thrash after dinner I went down town & collected one dollar on cow pasture from Mrs teets & $3,50 from Mrs White I was much surprised to find Roy down town he came from Wayne Co with a friend Adams in a ford car & we are having a good visit Vic & I drove out to see Burrel Foster he is Slow about mowing the weeds around my farm he promised to mow them right away
