Wed 25 Christmas & an extra fine day & we had a very fine Christmas dinner 21 here not counting 2 babies Charley Rhinehart came from CR [Cedar Rapids, Iowa] on the AM train & went back this Eve his wife & girl Staid he gave me a nice Electric Search light & my 6 girls gave me an Extra fine Solid gold GAR pin worth at least $10,00 besides I got ties & handkerchiefs in great plenty Mothers table looked very fine to day when set for dinner all in all we had a fine Christmas Marjorie is getting better under Dr Leslies treatment I have a bad cold & it is rather worse this Eve
