Thurs 12 Cold & clear Cold SW wind dry roads good I arose a little Early & hurried around we are all Dave Harvey Roys Nellies Mother & I invited to Henry Fosters to spend the day Nellies did not go Mother & I went with our mare & buggy the boys went with Roys we had a delightful visit at Fosters fine country home An Excellent dinner Mother & I got home little aftr sundown left the rest at Fosters I was late doing chores Wasson piled furnace wood in the cellar worked 8 hours & got along well he fed the pigs & cows at noon Emma & Vic took diner at the Hotel
