Saturday March 30th 1907 Moderate & partly Cloudy frost this morning but Soon disappeared Leslie clerked for Shiller & thinks he is taking the Mumps Bell Maude & Nellie here Most all day helping Mother Cook for Easter dinner I got 3 fine young roosters at O&K pd $1,20c 15 lbs I got 3 doz buns & loaf of Rye bread pd 30c I got Candy 40c oranges 55c 1 doz bananas 20c nuts 15c Steak for dinner 25c & the girls & 3 husbands here for dinner John Ash died very Sudden at 3 AM in a buggy
