Monday December 24th 1906 Moderate & dark Cloudy all day & looks & feels much like Snow I drew $5 from bank & paid Bright Fuller$3 on wood hauling he brought 2 loads & Hat Fuller chopped I put the bal [balance?] of cord down cellar that Bright hauled Sat[urday] Evrything is preparing for Christmas Nellie is here helping mother who is not a bit well tho she works around all the time as tho She had to I killed 2 nice big extra fat hens for tomorrow Leslie worked for Shiller
