Monday Dec 26 A nice dry winter day vacation this week & the boys went to the creek to Skate & try their new Christmas Skates they Came back tired & Joe hung the pants over the register to dry I went down town awhile My cold is no worse & the boys & I put most 2 loads of wood in the cellar H B Kreger paid me $2,00 for apples I Sold him last fall & I paid him $30 rent for GAR & WRC for rent of K P Hall I lighted all my lights this Eve but one the hall light up Stairs would not light
