Sunday September 25th 1898 A very nice warm day Mag & I & Children & Harve went to Roys to see his new Angus bull calf bought south of Washington for $50 he is fine we fixed a place in the East pasture to get in to cut Sod & we opened the gates & fence & let all Stock onto nice clover 28 acres over East we ground my axe I feel much better today Roy here most all day
