Wednesday Aug 24 An Extra fine day & pleasant Mag & I went to Wellman & took dinner at Amanda’s we bought of Sample a bill of window shades for 32 windows $18,75 a hat rack $21 one bedst [bed stand?] $13 & one $7 one table $21 & 2 bed springs $4,50 total I get for $120 Harve trimmed hedge I found my Carpenters at work in Wellman this morning & they got the 4 outside doors hung So that we can lock the house & keep our numerous callers out from mudding up the house
