Tuesday Aug 2 Cloudy warm & it rained a real nice rain & will do much good I went to Wellman & Vic & Roy & Hix was there with 2 loads of hay & I helped mow it away Vic came home with Roy I now have 8 good loads of hay in my Wellman barn 2 stax & west bent in the horse barn & South bent in hay barn Hoefer came to fix cistern but it rained Alberson plasterer with 3 hands came & team & commenced lathing after dinner carpenters are all done ready for plastering I paid E F Smith $3,85
