Sunday Dec 26th A very fine moderate day Harve went Early to Wellman & brought Ez & Amanda & H G Moore wife & girl & we had a real nice Social visit Moore tries his best to make himself agreeable & with me he only half succeeds he takes too many liberties is too familiar & there is Something about the man that Excites distrust yet I hope he & I may allways be friends & have many nice Social visits our youngsters & Harve all went to Wellman to Meeting this Eve Ez & Moore drove frank & tom & Slegh the rest & Willard took the bob sleds turned first young sow to Miller boar
