October 15, 1897

Friday Oct 15  real warm & windy  86 in Shade  we husked the first Corn 2 loads  we had Early dinner & Mag & I went to Wellman to Henry Longwells funeral at the Methodist Church  we called at Holdens & went down town  I got Pension Chk Cashed & Mag got a bed spread to take to the Bradford Foster wedding next week  I filled the Refrigerator with ice  large well kept cakes

  1. I love it when the diary tells me something interesting. Mag bought a bedspread for a wedding gift for Isaac’s nephew-and the bride in that wedding left my mom money in her will many years later.
