Wednesday Aug 18 A very pleasant Sunny day to travel we arose with the sun & visited with Vanwinkle till near 10 AM when we bade them good bye & Started for home where we arrived about 1 PM found all right except Maude is feeling quite poorly with pain in bowels & back we eat dinner & I wrote in this book music teacher came Mrs. Joe England called & got a piece of ice & borrowed our ice cream freezer Harve is hauling manure Harves year is out this eve girls went to Englands to festival
