Tuesday November 10th 1896 Sprinkled rain many times & looked & acted & felt as tho it would rain hard but we escaped & the hands got 4 big loads of corn I fixed a gate a cow feed box took off the hog waterer it was froze up tho tis thawing a little to day I mended a glass dish with putty I & Vic & Joe went to Nira PM young Hoefer called begging money to build a Campbellite Church in Kalona I subscribed $1
