Tuesday July 7th 1896 Warm & dry we are having real nice hay weather & nice cool nights this is the first harvest in many years that I have failed to make a hand I have no harvest no haying to do & perhaps never shall have again I feel that I have done Enough & feel better when I don’t work so hard Darby here for dinner Ed Jones brought 3 milk cans in the Eve I went to Nira to Church Committee Meeting Sylvia & Jap came this Eve Harriet commenced to attend school few days in Wellman
