Tuesday September 24th 1895 A nice pleasant day & cool I went Early to Wellman & brought Sister Amanda She will help Mag cook for the wedding home by 10 am I went to Stapletons & helped adjust the loss of his home the Co will pay him $1000 Vic Carris came home with me to dinner & he had brought a Miss Crawford & she was also here to dinner Nora & Allie went to Wellman this PM & brought Harriet home this Eve John Brewer went with me to Wellman & he stayed there Martin Brewer is making change lively & helping at every & anything he can the hands hauled some more wood & slicked up around the yards.
