Sunday Sept 15 A nice warm day too warm Harve went to Roys visiting & after dinner Mag & I went to Mr. Greens [William Green] & gave him & family an invitation to his son’s & Sylvias wedding he seemed well pleased we only Stayed a few minutes as it looked very much like rain & we drove fast home & it only Sprinkled us a little came by Roys & got the buggy seat we left there Allie & Nora Stayed at Roys & now at 15 minutes to Seven tis raining hard & Steady & tis a very welcome rain the little boys [probably Victor Carris Carr, age 10 and Leslie Lewis Carr, age 6] & I went from Roys to the other place to see the steers found them doing fine plenty of grass water & Salt
