Saturday Sept 14 A nice warm day we put bal [balance] of dirt in our ditch & hauled 5 loads of dirt around the water tub & made a good flow around the hog watererwith the bottom of the old tub & have it fixed real good if the hogs would only leave it so it would be nice Harve & I went to the Hughbanks timber & got some timber white oak to fence the reservoir & Shirley cut corn Harve has worked 65 days & drew 16,75 Shirley has worked 24 days & drew $2 & went home this eve.
