Sunday Jan 13th Calm Cool & Pleasant light NW wind Roy & Cora came & Stayed all day Harve went home but helped chore morning & night I & Joe went to the other place & saw the ice on the pond tis nice & clear & 8 or 10 in thick tho not plenty but maybe I can get enough to fill the ice house Roy paid me 1,20 that I lent him to pay for grinding Harve went with buggy to Nira in the Evening to get Fiora Snider to help put up ice but didn’t get him
