Tuesday Aug 25 1885 I took Mrs Jones & England home in morning A nice drying day Roy plowed & Den Spread manure I went up NW to get a girl found a fat lazy Powers girl but She wouldn’t work home at noon found Mag feeling worse & Mrs Joe England here Roy had brought her & After dinner he went & got Mrs. J C Jones & about ½ past 4 PM a fine large 9 lb boy was born at our house & all went well I took Mrs Joe England home & Roy took Mrs Jones home
